Malawi is a golfing country. There are courses throughout much of the country including Blantyre Sports Club, in Blantyre, Lilongwe Sports Club, in Lilongwe, Zomba Sports Club, in Zomba, and Dwanga Sports Club, in Dwanga.
Lilongwe Sports Club is highly recommended. It is home to the only 18 hole championship course in Malawi. There are many different wildlife species lurking in the area, so be aware. There are often pythons found on the course as well as a large monitor lizard (he is 6 feet long and 2 feet tall!). The club daily membership costs only $6 and the green fees are only $3. This fee gives you access to all amenities, including camping. Can it get any cheaper than that?
Malawi is a tropical climate country. The rainy season runs from December to March, so be sure to avoid that season. Day time temperatures average 24 degrees Celsius year round, but nights get chilly, so be sure to pack a jacket.

The only 18 hole championship course in Malawi. Other amenities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a restaurant. Daily, monthly, yearly memberships are available

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
